Our Trip To Morgantown

Over the weekend Mike, Jenna and I took trip to Morgantown to visit our families. It was a short trip, one day and one night, but it was nice to visit with my family. On Saturday night my mom and dad watched Jenna so Mike and I could go to dinner for my Birthday. We were out for 3 whole hours without her. When my niece Taylor and nephew Braden found out we were coming, they decided it would be fun to have a sleepover at Grandma and Pappy's with Jenna. They went out for Pizza, had birthday cake (they couldn't wait so they cut the cake before Mike and I returned from dinner), played in a tent and watched movies. Jenna had a blast!
My parents have my nieces' and nephew's old crib at their house for Jenna but in the past several months she has decided that it is more fun to sleep with Mike and I. So after a long day and night we headed home on Sunday morning. Jenna took a 3 1/2 hour nap when we got home (her average is 1 1/2 to 2 hours).

A New Favorite Activity

Last week at Wiggles and Giggles, Jenna painted for the first time and LOVED it. When we were out running errands yesterday we picked up some paint and brushes. She spent a majority of the afternoon painting today. And I am excited we have a new activity to add to our day.

She is Definitely Mine

Jenna and I enjoyed some messy pasta for dinner tonight. As most of you know I am a little bit of a neat freak but as you can see from the pictures I do let her get a little dirty. However I definitely know she is mine because after every few bites she asked for her hands to be wiped off. And after we were all done she enjoyed cleaning up in the sink.

A Day At The Outlets

On Tuesday we spent the day at the Outlets with Katy and Anna. We did some shopping,thanks Mandy for telling us about the sale at Gymboree :) , had lunch and after all of that the girls enjoyed some time playing.

Spring in February?

The last several days have been unseasonably warm and we are LOVING it! We've taken Jenna on walks in the neighborhood and to the park. Today Jenna, Maize, Jack and I enjoyed playing in the backyard.







Jack loves to play with Jenna's socks and shoes...we got to chase Jack trying to get the shoe back(let me rephrase... I chased Jack around the yard).

SuperBowl Party

Way to go Steelers!!! Mike, Jenna and I hosted a SuperBowl Party at the house. There was lots of good food, conversation, and screaming. And the kids had a great time playing (way past their bed times).
